Default 6400kW or 8704hp BR182 Taurus...

...ok, it's not US or Canadian but it's N-scale.

bought a first "testsample" of the new Hobbytrain/Lemke made by Ajin, Korea model of a european Siemens/Krauss-Maffei BR182 Taurus Dispolok...

...they run also through Switzerland with a little different look - decals,
some color and a little weathering, a 3rd pantograph and this is the result.

first you see the engine "out of the box" and below the "slightly enhanced" version

alright, Steve, what for the 3rd pantograph? Is the overhead in such rough shape that they figure to lose 2 of them on an average trip?

...this engine is proofed for different countries in Europe. each country has similar catenary but not identical, the third pantograph on this engine is equiped with a special plate for the Swiss catenary, that easy...
(also the power is different in the countries, this engine is running with 15 kV - 16 2/3Hz and 25 kV - 50 Hz)
