Demotion?
I see I have slipped back down to 'junior member' somehow... I once was a supreme or elite veteran, if I recall correctly. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of paper modeling; but it did take me a long while to get there.

That happened to almost everyone as the entire database from the old forum is not "online" right now.
Peter will get the posts back on the forum and everyones post counts and ratings will be good as new! I myself took a hit of about 2,000 posts. We have a few bumps along the way but it will all work out in the end.  Russell

It took me a little time to figure out how "ranking" was awarded (didn't seem right to me, maybe I still don't fully understand it, I came to understand it was based only(?) on number of posts. I'm totally lost on how it's being transferred, but, whatever.
I have to say, I'm sorry to lose the old cardmodels.net. If nothing else it had a certain "charm". I'm sure I'll get use to this; how else am I to get my paper model fix, short of learning a new language?
