Dennis,

While I personally don't care for the smileys, others do. And I will defend to the death your right to use them. But, it is not the use of the angry face, but in particular where is was inserted, and how it seemed to fit in with the " "limited time" " quote, that made it appear that the anger was with the fact the aforementioned kit was not free, nor available in the parts bin, indicating anger with the admins and/or Nobi. Now that I am farther into my day (after much coffee!) your response is appreciated. Now, I and others understand where your coming from. It was merely a matter of context.

Yeah, it's a good bunch here and NOBI is certainly one of the best.

NOBI seems to be gathering all of his previously released free models on his new website. I posted under "Internet Finds" (here)about NOBI's X-15, A-36, & S-3A being available on the old Warpaper site. I expressed a concern that Warpaper looked abandoned and I was afraid that it would disappear soon, taking down NOBI's models with it. NOBI replied that they'll soon be on his website.

I guess I'll just have to learn a little more patience.

NOBI's stuff is definitely worth waiting for... Attachment 1263

Thanks for the "Baby Mitsubishi" NOBI!

Damnation!!! There I go with all of those smilies again!
Sorry Rick...

NOBI, Thank you once again for your generous gifts to this group and the rest of the paper model world. As a retired mechanical designer, I have some idea what is required to create a 3-D model and then turn it into something flat that can be made back into the 3-D model [whew!] Your work and talent is much appreciated.
Later,
Fred Z

Firstly, thanks to NOBI for the great model.

I am building it now. I noticed a discrepancy between the part numbers on the parts sheet #3 and as shown in the instructions. See attached pictures for particulars. I only down loaded the gray Zero, so this may or may not also be present on the other model.

Hi NOBI. It's me again. I have a few more questions/observations.

There are 2 sets of part number 24R. What are these and where do they go?

Part number 30 is identified on the insrtuctions as the bracket for the auxiliary fuel tank, but is not detailed on the parts sheet.

Hi Bluenoser,

If you assemble an orange zero (Tsukuba kokutai) no need for drop tank because that is a training aircraft but if you assemble a grey one (Junyo) you will find that part (part 30) in page 3 of pdf file.

part 24R is a cover of landing gear and i mislabel...it should be 24R and 24L :P

It looks good............ a lot of folks don't like non-scale planes......... but I think they are great. They really capture the "character" of the plane when done correctly and kids really seem to take to them!

I tried to do one; a corsair, one time and got frustrated F*A*S*T......... Nobi has a real talent with these and his true scale planes! I snap then up everytime he does something!
