I hope our IPMS chapter could give THIS kind of enthusiasm about card models...
many still criticize what card models can look like... although there are now some (but mostly not) who now agree that card models should be given the same respect as plastic ones... maybe I should build Dr. Z's F-15E to silence them once & for all about card models...

You will find always someone (or a whole group) who think card models are not worthy. But think they haven't seen many card models.

I should have taken a look at this thread earlier. My recent positive thread experience on the Scale Auto Magazine Forum, regarding my cardboard cars, underscores what this thread established almost two years ago: plastic modelers are now accepting us.
They should. Card modelers put as much effort and emotion into what they build as do plastic modelers. Those of you who posted on this thread back in '06 can be satisfied that our progress along the road of respect continues. To Geraldo: a belated congratulations on your model contest awards. Those planes are gorgeous!
