Default Help needed to identify these

In my line of work I very often come across some very interesting individuals, one of whom needs help in identifying these aircraft.
The story is his father was in the First World War and trained as a pilot, these photo's belonged to this man and they captured several (or is it just 1 ) German Aircraft. And now he wants them identified. Knowing how clever you lot are at this game I was wondering if you could tell me, so I can help him. Thanks

As an aside, he told me that his father was on a mission in WW2 to attack a German Munitions ship on its way from Italy to Africa. They took off in ( I believe Mossies) to atack this ship, but as it was defended by two Gunships on either side, He told me that they were laughing all the way into the attack, and all the way home. The reason why, was they flew in so low the gunships couldn't depress their guns low enough and ended up shooting at each other.

I love my job

I agree looks like a Snipe.

Others not sure.

Ummmmmm the dust/crap under your cooling fan was bad but unfortunately, I HAVE seen much worse. I even saved one in a zip-lock bad because no one would have believed it.
