Default Cardtober Fest

Hi all,

The mention of Cardtober, similar to Rocktober on the radio, or Octoberfest, has me thinking, of what to do, what to sponsor.....

So my question to the membership, What does Cardtober or CardtoberFest mean to you?

I would like to create something on an annual basis.

Let me know here what you are feeling, thinking, pondering(for those Brain fans amongst us) or just otherwise popping into your head.

Rick

I think it's a great idea. Just like Shock-tober, Jacques Chirac-tober, or even Kelly LeBrock-tober (for fans of Weird Science).

But seriously, a good idea. We should formulate a yearly event of some variety. I'm all for it. Even those plastic modelers don't have that.

I'm not sure what you have put yourselves into here Rick....but I'm sure something will come out of it....

Cardtober....Cardtoberfest....I'm thinking of Icewine for some strange reason...

Maybe we could have some kind of annual workshop?
Saving one model to start building the 1 of october, and it has to be finished by the 1 of November

Hi folks,

It´s very nice to read you all thinking about that issue...........

As cool as a paper model beer stein might be, there is just something in me that rebels at the idea of beer in a paper cup.

there might be some interesting things happening if everyone had the same model to do......download it on the 1st and go to town on it,,,,then all post the finished one the same day,,,,end of October....the only requirement is they start with the same downloaded model and finish what ever they do with it on the end of the month,,,,,,,,,,,,,
