Default Not paper - live steam loco

Hi Folks,

This may be entirely off topic, but I thought that some of you may be interested in my latest non-paper model.
It's a live steam 5" gauge 2-6-0 loco. Weighs about 55 Kg when completed and should pull about 8 people. It's quite an impressive beast.
There is a diary of the build on my web site. http://www.wakelin.org/polly

I don't kow if you folks are interested, but I've made some good progress with Polly. The web site has been updated. Now I shall sit down with a glass of red wine, and stick some shining armour on my knight.

Live Steam. Awesome! If I had the resources that'd be what I'd be doing. Good work so far

Regards,
Todd

Nice! I was wondering if you could build a live steam with aluminium sheets cut like paper models...

Here is something that you might be interested in. You make a steam powered boat using aluminum cans.
