OK SO FIRST IMPRESSIONS WERE....

printing is quite crisp and only if you get very close can you see the "grain" of the printed colours

brief diagram instructions... pretty much were stuff goes

no centres to any of the circles (read wheels and rims and stiffeners etc)

alltogether i was impressed......

a scan of a few components

right so i started it and after sorting out some curly laminations (see post in help section) i got down to putting the frame together, OH DEAR!

it's awfull! lots of the parts need trimming to fit and there is a massive problem on the front of the huge and very sturmtigery armoured box... the angle is way out.... rats

i'll post a pic later to show how bad it is

i have this kit the top box is ok the botton is a nightmare the botton the best approch is to laminate the "skin" parts directly to 1mm card and build it by reinforcing the skin

I have the GPM version and I love it ... I just don't have the gonads/skill to start it yet.

I hope to see a progression of this build though. How many other tracked models have you done???

the tracks on this are easy "band type" if it wasnt for the fit problems (only the hull formers) this would be a nice easy kit

I am about 35% finished with this kit and have discovered several problems with fit and many problems with camo not lining up. I probably will finish it anyway.
