Default "zoom", "vroom", and "whirrrr"...

back to conceptualizing motorized papermodels.....

I have seen a few neat R/C helicopters, anyone thought about wrapping an apache or blackhawk body of paper on one?

race cars...small R/C versions available to be inserted under NASCAR paper bodies. potential for body damage... anybody racing these?

the old style wind-up "walker" motors might even be fun for a tank....

i have seen the old evinrude wind up motors on e-bay. yachting anyone...?

what other ideas can we come up with to make our models more "alive" (besides figures)?

I've seen a number of paper automata sites, here's a fun one if you haven't seen it before:

It would be fun to see more designs with working parts, paper or mixed media.

My dad had an RC Helicopter. It'd have to be a pretty sturdy body to survive the downforces. Helicopters can't fly, y'know. They just beat the air into submission.

All the other ideas sound great, though. I whish I'd have thpught of it when I still raced RC cars and monster trucks. Them platic bodies get pricey...

With the guts taken from one of those really small RC cars at wal-mart I could replant it in one of Shaun's armored cars.
