Default Model-Hobby.pl

Few days ago charliec announced new model of Shinhoto Chi-Ha http://www.cardmodels.net/forum/show...light=shinhoto so I did a little research into this new publisher.
It turns out that Model-Hobby not only published this nice Japanese tank but is also a fully equipped hobby store!
They do have English version of the page and they accept credit cards and PayPal!!!! - this has to be a breakthrough for Polish vendors.
Store offer is fairly extensive with models and accesories from almost all publishers, including models long out of print.

Now the important part - I just placed a first order with them for $82. To my amazement shipping cost was below $6!!!
Order screen notified me that there was an e-mail sent to my mailbox that requires confirmation. All needed was clicking on the provided link top go back to the store page and completing the order.
I paid with PayPal - first page is in Polish but it is just a log-in screen so it shouldn't be a problem and after login, page shifted to English.

Now we will see how long it will take for the order to arrive.

Thanks for the heads up! This is good news, especially about the low shipping rate!

Now, if they only carried Draf frames...

You know you can buy directly from Draf Rick!
I do that for all my lasercuts.
The other stores add some profit.....

I just checked Model Hobby, and they add two euros to Draf's price for the same tracks.

Yeah, I know, but Draf charges shipping rates to North America about like GPM - which is to say about what the items cost! Been wanting to get the frame set for the Ju-52, but cannot find it in NA. Since it's not on the immediate build list I'm waiting to find a cheaper shipper.

You say you found some Draf stuff on this new site? I know I saw some ship related photo-etched stuff, but I didn't see Draf.

They have the Draf Tracks.
I haven't looked very close, so they might have other stuff also.

Just to check I went to Draf site and placed a dummy order for the Chi-Ha tracks.
They are about 7EU cheaper there than at the Model-Hobby site, but....
They want me to contact them before placing an order, shipping charge for just one set of tracks was almost double than I'm paying for my order, they do not seem to run a secure site which makes me rather uneasy about giving out credit card number, unless this switches to secure mode before the number has to be entered - didn't get that far...

I feel much more comfortable paying with PayPal which Draf does not offer so I really hope that Model-Hobby turns out a winner and adds more Draf frames into their offer...

I have just e-mailed Rafal about what I want, and then got an e-mail in return with a link to a payment site called Allpay.pl
Shipping have not been more than around 10 euros, if my mind works correctly this late in the morning

Thanks Josve,
I placed an order with Draf for some frames but must admit that it is a bit confusing.
Everything went smoothly up to the "process payment" stage where I got an error stating that payment was rejected because of double authorization, then while typing an e-mail to them trying to resolve it, I received an email from Allpay saying that the payment was approved....
Now I will just wait and see if it arrives............

I placed an order through Draf Models at the beginning of March. I paid through Pay Pal with a credit card. I did initially correspond with Rafal expressing my wish to use Pay Pal. Rafal gave me his Pay Pal account name and ordering went very smoothly. I am still awaiting the parts which were shipped to a the USA address where I have the credit card. Will have to wait until end of May (hopefully, the parts will have made it by then) before my son, who attends school in the States will bring it to me.

I just checked the airplanes and it seems that Hobby-Model is now offering all the frames from Draf page...
