Blatant E-bay Pirate!!!

Description 230 Paper Figures.
This character is advertising a CD for sale on e-bay with 230 models, mainly aircraft, ships and military vehicles. The auction is current. This is absolutely outrageous. None of these models are free, many of the ships are GPM Models. How can he get away with such outright theft of copyright?
I have a suggestion to stop people like this. Is it possible for us to contribute to a fighting fund to pay a lawyer to take up the cudgels on behalf of the legitimate copyright holder. I understand that eBay is a US company and that lawyers can be found in the US that work for a no win no pay basis.
If people can be allowed to thieve like this, I can see that the days of companies that design and produce card models will be numbered and our hobby will inevitably suffer.

I reported the item to Ebay as copyrighted material I don't know what they will do probably nothing but if enough people report it the person might loose his or her account..

I think I actually have his US address in an email somewhere because I got him to spill his location for shipping prices.

Can't exactly remember right now but it's in New York, United States... I wonder what the State Police would find if they came a-knockin on his door.

If only...the models that are produced for FREE, on a DAILY BASIS, got as much attention as these " Pirated" " Premium" models do...

It's a CD with GPM models only. So, why don't you send a message to GPM about that issue? Since it's their copyrighted material they should be able to end this auction.

The other stuff this guy sells is more obviously pirated. Maybe ebay would take more notice if you pointed out all of his likely infringing items.
