Clarification request - I assume you mean unpowered plane type gliders - or would you include planes like ojimaks that ARE gliders but look like jets? Trots would fit that description as well.... I probably wont participate (too many hobbies, not enough time!)but others might want to know

Yes, No.

Yes, prototype aircraft subject must be unpowered. If your model actually flies as well, excellent, but not neccessary. So that doesn't include 747s after they flew through a cloud of volcanic dust....

No. Commercial, free, own designs, I don't mind. Paper/card and clear materials, the odd bit of wire etc., but no composites, balsa, aluminium etc.
