Default Popular Science goes card modelling (sort of)

I just saw this on the Popular Science web site. Extended card modelling! A solution to the "too many models to keep" problem. Put and engine in it and shoot it down / crash it!

I just saw this in the latest issue. I've also seen carding in Make magazine.

The really cool thing is they gave us a FREE AT-6 model to play with....................

Anybody up for a coloring competition? No prizes just, fun and everyone get a different AT-6 model out of the deal!

My goodness! The one depicted up front is a Zero Fighter and it's really an AT-6 Texan

Reminds me of the movie Tora! Tora! Tora! wherein they used At-6 Texans and painted them up as Zero Fighters

Yeah, that struck me as a little odd as well. Most of the general public doesn't know the difference.

They certainly don't. Heck, I build airplane models all the time and someone had to tell me they used AT-6s in Tora! Tora! Tora!
