Default Pz.Kpwf III ausf.G 1:16 GPM

Here is a large one

Publisher: GPM
Scale: 1:16
Size: 340 x 180 x 170 mm
Parts: 2188
Sheets: 14
Format: 420 x 297 mm
GMI: 5

The kit

This is a large model with many parts. It's a upscaled replica of the 1:25 model.
There have been reported some issues with the fit on this 1:16 model.
I'm not sure what it is, but I guess I'll find out when that time comes

Instructions.
Instructions looks good with many 3d drawings and of the different build groups.

Parts.

The paper is thick and gives a good impression for this large build. The print holds the high standard of the GPM kits.Colors and weathering looks very good!

Tracks.

Formers

Lasertracks.

Summary.
A large model that will look very good on the shelf
Lot of parts, full interior, good print, good instructions.

I'm just anal enough to take a scan of that part.
Mirror the digital file so it's reverse.
Print it grayscale on thin paper.
Cut it out and lightly tack it to the back of the real part.
Take a dead/empty ballpoint pen.
Using a thick erasure as a pressure pad, emboss all those dimples.

=O

I think this kit is deffinately one of GPM's benchmarks in print quality. I would have a hard time NOT building the kit as is instead of scanning and removing the slight moire effect and halftone dots that most kits have.

That is a very impressive looking kit. It must be huge. What are the finished dimensions?
