Default T55a 1:25 Gpm

Here is a "beauty" from GPM! The Russian T55A.

Publisher: GPM
Scale: 1:25
Size: A4
Parts: N/A
GMI: 3

The kit

You can build 3 variants of this one.Just pick your choice of tower markings.
My first impression of this kit is that it seems very good!!

Instructions.

The instructions are very nice and seems to cover most of the build.
Also instructions in english here!

Parts.

As you can see of this pic, the print has a great 3d effect!

Also the weathering is quite nice!

Tower cover

Tracks

The tracks on this one is of the belt type, with no bolt linking the tracklinks together.

Some of the wheel parts.

The kit gives a very good impression. It seems quite easy to build. The print and paper is very good. The parts count are not the higest.
There are Laserparts available for this one.Frames, wheels and tracks.
I'm ordering the laserparts from Draf today

Some teasers of a finished model.....Taken from the GPM site.

I've never built a tank model of any sort in my life, but all these gorgeous kits being posted up sure make me think I'm going to have to change that in the near future. (Well, near modelling future, given real life and time available I have kits filling quite a while in the queue already ).

Ya know...I build paper models, and I still have the urge to say, "Wow! That's made of paper?!"
