Default stopping at the edge in corel draw

I'm using Corel Draw, and I love it (even though I don't understand a lot of it).

I seem to have a problem with the boundaries of the document. If I draw past the edges, it changes the size of the page when I export a BMP.

Even a line drawin slightly over the edge will make a texture (BMP) look bad.

Is there a way to prevent a tool from drawing off the edge of the page? In MS Paint, I didn't have to worry about going over the edge, because it would just disappear. With Corel Draw, I have to be ultra-careful about where my drawings meet the edges!

Heeelp!

Default Corel help

When I use Corel Draw, I set up guidelines to define a preset size that I have determined to be the edge of my drawing. You can also draw a rectangle snapped to this size and just stay inside of it or the guidelines.

Best Regards,

The rectangle idea works great!
