Hi all! I think I just double the Tassie memebership of these forums!
I'm on the NW coast. Just starting out in the card modelling stakes. I hope to be contributing in the near future.
Cheers
Spuddy.

Thanks Tony!
Actually, I used to be from SA. Moved to Tassie in 2006. I used to live just outside of Gawler.
I tell you what, the weather sure is much kinder down here!

Cheers,
Marc

Yeah you would have heard we broke the record for the longest run of days for any capital city here for very hot weather etc.
for washing we go outside & roll in the dirt like the dogs & cats do!
Willaston Roseworthy or further? or back towards Mallala.

Gawler Belt, actually. Just 2 Km south of Roseworthy. Had a few acres there.
My brother and his family live in Mildura, similar weather the Adelaide, and every time we spoke on the phone, I would comment we were sweltering in scorching 23 degree heat! LOL
Definietly worth the move, though. I do miss the folk back in SA, but we still keep in regular contact.

remember the Ash wednesday fires? At the same time Hobart almost got burned out. Every other time it been too wet to burn down that far.
cleaner air, water I can't blame you for moving.
I just can't be bothered to move anywhere else now.
except possibly the bottom end of Yorkes, away from tourists but closer to old rellies.
my kid runs upto Mildura to see a friend every now & agin.
& the web cams in Midura were good for the boats etc
