Sputnik Contest ?

In honor of the upcoming Sputnik launch aniversary how about an R-7/Sputnik contest ? Very Informal, few rules, sort of a beauty contest, to be completed by the end of October in 1/96 scale. Any interest out there ??

Neils (a member here) was working on a Sputnik satellite model. No update on it lately though.

Yes RINGMASTER, something like that one. There are several R-7/Vostok/Soyuz models out there. So whichever one floats your boat. The R-7 was one of the first paper models I did, and has remained a favorite of mine. I guess I'd add a third rule, that it be a free model, not purchased. There is only one true R-7 out there that I know of, one of the old Precision Paper Space Models. We could use that one or modify one of the others. I've always felt a little kit bashing is good for the soul. Maybe add an R-7 ICBM to the mix. Im open to any and all comments.
