Hey Julescrafter.

In what format are the models? Are they limited to rastor bitmaps, jpegs and tiffs or are they vector based pdfs?

Also how does one receive the models?

Default T90 scale

T90 scale is 1/43 too, coz M1A2 is my first design so the others refer to Abrams's scale

Next is Armored vehicles..
and merkava israeli tank

Darn... I am building the Challenger2 right now and I was figuring that it is 1/72 until I started piecing the pintle gun.

DOH!

Well since I am building this from paper instead of cardstock it's no biggie. A 41% reduction should put it right even though I am almost finished the turret I can say it's going to be difficult building that small but will hide the image compression issues on parts.

@Nobi: There are too many armor designers doing WW2 already. They are good but hardly anyone is designing modern armor.

Default Better with cardstock

Hi guys..
sorry.. i was late adding the scale
it is better to use a cardstock. In Indonesia using the cardstock is very common. I dont know with the international standard for the card/paper weight, but in Indonesia it is usually 100 grams A4 cardstock.

I need an advise as I am entering international standard now. What is the common scale for scale models?

and one more thing.. can I quote your posts here? I want to add to my site as a testimonials?

Cheers
Jules

For Americans, I would suggest 67lb Card stock, which is approximately 140grams.
Common armor scales range from 1:16 to 1/72 so 1/32 or 1/48 is about mid range.

I don't see any problem with quoting posts here. Why don't you even include a link to our forum in your link section too?

By the way, I really love your designs, they are very nice.
I bought a couple of them last night myself.

Do you plan on making any with a lot of detail? Those are my favorite kind.

Russell

I'll do ya better and post build pictures when I am done. If I didn't like what I was building ... I wouldn't be building it still. =)
