I have just ordered the Bismarck, hopefully I will do a build thread. Although I have already got USS Oakland from nem. I also have a HMS Invincible 1/400 scale that I did a trial build and give up, it's still half built. So hopefully this time I will build a ship that I have bought.

You're welcome, Paul. I apologise for having to send the instructions a day behind the kit. I only received the translations from Halinski after you'd made your order.

Happy building

Default 1mm cardstock

Hi Nemesis, Have you had any luck with the 1mm cardstock yet, I have tried everywhere and still been unable to get any without ripping the backs off A4 notepads, a couple of quid for 10 sheets is great as its costing me 80p per notepad just for the back cover. I have a few of Gremirs fantastic ships and qiute a lot of laminating to do, so i would order 20 sheets to start

Hi Smyfe,

I'm afraid I abandoned the idea because, as you can see from this thread, the response was less than overwhelming. The problem is that I have to make a minimum order of card which amounts to hundreds of pounds. This would be fine if the demand was there and I could sell it but right now, I can't afford to have that stock sitting on shelves.

Once the business is more established I'll take another look at it. Sorry to have to disapoint you though, Smyfe.

Hi Nemisis,

Hmm...would one really say hi to one's nemisis??? That by side, your avatar rings a faint bell, is it from the Carry On series or Monty Python?

You're close, Rick. It's Windsor Davis who played Sgt major "shutup" in "It ain't half hot, Mom" but it think he did also play a sgt. Major in a carry on film. I just can't remember which one.

Don't forget "Never the Twain" with Donald Sinden.

Good luck with the business, and here's the ideal piece of equipment for
