Default SPI Shop going out of business - Clearance sales

Hello,
Thank you all for your support during the past 6 years, but we are now planning to go out of business.
So we are clearing our stocks, with a 40 % discount on most models.

Best regards,
Joseph @ SPI Shop

I always seem to miss the best sales... I dare not even look at the site in case there's too much there I want to buy

Sorry to see a nice site like yours close down.

I went to purchase some kits but the shipping was astronomical (similar to overseas). I don't understand that since it's priority shipping and should have been around $10 US, as compared to other North American shops for the same items. Has anyone else come across the same problem?

@rmks : if you're in Northern America, then it's actually overseas - we're in Europe

I ordered the Modelik Scud, and even with $30 shipping it came out to less total than I would have paid for the model with shipping from any NA shops. (Plus none of the NA shops showed it as in stock anymore).

Now I just need to build 30-50 models to get my skill up to the point where I feel confident cutting into it

OH ,no! sales are great, but if SPI shop disappears,it's great models like the B&V BV-213 or the Messerschmitt 'Libelle' will disappear too.
