A (very) Short History Of The Gauge Forum

Some of you may have clicked a link the-gauge.com to get here. When you arrived, you noted our new name Zealot.com.

This is because we are now a group of forums all in one community. We did this so a larger group of modelers could get together and learn from one another. There are things in all forums that have common grounds and common interests and more important common bonds.

The Gauge was started as Zealot.com - The Gauge - Model Trains - The-Gauge.com in late 2000. We have since been bought and sold and updated and upgraded so we have become so large, we needed a newer server. We combined all the hobby forums we owned, into one huge fast server.

We, at The Gauge - Model Train forum kept our original name so we would avoid some of the confusion both with the link and the general mention of the old forum name throughout the posts in the forum.

Please feel free to look around, ask questions, learn as much as you want and contribute if you want to.
