Thanks you Hans. It is really fun to build and really blew me away...I think it is really cool to see now how the astronauts work their way around. Having the 3d model helps locate bits and pieces so now I can almost pinpoint where the astronauts are when they are on a walk. I have this model hanging over my bed and it fun to imagine the astronauts out on their 'walk' and it feels like it is really flying...anyways..thanks for the comments and I'll try to get a picture of the model with Quest really soon.

I just recieved an email from Mr. Fortezza telling me he recieved the donation I sent him a time ago. he said that he is currently abroad. So I guess when he is finished with that trip he'll be along with the model again. Don't worry. Lucas |

Hi to all,
I am attaching photos of the last 3 releases from my website. The photos cover the assembly steps for missions STS-92, STS-97 and STS-98. The russian segment of the ISS has not been done yet and it will be released at a later date. I want to thank everybody for visiting this thread and showing a lot of patience. It does take a lot of time for me for doing these models which I really enjoy building. I am very pleased with the results so far. I think my advantage is having all technical and robotic stuff that is helping me to make these models as accurate as possible considering the scale. It's a long way for me to finish this ISS but I'd rather go slow so you guys can have a decent ISS papermodel. Enjoy! Alfonso |

Hey everyone, just wanted to let everyone in on how the ISS project is coming along, I have worked on it here and there as time allowed. I am sorry to say but I have just about givin up on designing my own pieces for it. It is just a little above my head as it is. So in my spare time, I worked on the ATV and Harmony just to get a few bits and pieces out of the way. I plan on making the current modular arrangement and I'll get see what I can do about the Truss. As the pictures point out here, I used Ton's ATV and Alfonso's Node 2. Their models fit together greatly with Forteza's ISS very well. I would just like to say to Alfonso, that you have made a great model so far and I look forward to building the other pieces that come along. Hopefully the Truss will come along soon so I can get this station current. Anyone out there looking to do an ISS that is easy and has great detail, check out Alfonso's site.
http://www.axmpaperspacescalemodels.com It is truely an amazing site and I urge anyone to go take a look around. ![]() here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by underwoodl06; 06-26-2008 at 10:59 PM. |
