Default Modern Jets or Helos

Does anyone have any modern jets or helos they would like to part with...GPM, FlyMOdel, etc...preferably 1:32 scale...I can pay with PayPal, or I have some nice plastics for trade.

Specifically, I am looking for an F-15E...1/32...something with a good build review.

Thanks,
JH

NO offense...but I will not, under any circumstance, scan my driver's license to purchase something online. That is insane, and anyone who does it is asking for their identity to be completely stolen.

From that website:

Important Note to First Time Buyers!!!Due to recent instances of stolen credit card numbers, being used to purchase models, we recently applied new policy regarding new customers, and we ask that you will Email us a scan of your pictured identification card (driver license or any other official document) with your name and picture on it (as it appears on your PayPal account or your credit card that is used for this transaction), to prove that you are the one who is making this purchase.

We are sorry for the inconvenient, but necessary delay in processing your order.

I just purchased from there right before Christmas and that wasn't necessary. I agree that is annoying.

Ouch! Not a good way to run a business but a good way to run a business into the ground.

Perhaps if they switched to a 3rd party system people would buy there.

Julescrafter.com - Military 3D Paper Model - Home

This is an easy buy. Yes it is not 1/35 but 1/72. You can print at 2x scale.

Perhaps if you were to contact Moshe through the board (http://forum.zealot.com/member.php?u=23676) you might be able to work out a relationship that allowed you to order his models traditionally without the ID requirement...

The other option is buying through another party who has ordered from him before - but of course that gets touchier with digital format models...

It looks like I slipped in just before the change - which is nice because there are certainly other kits he has that I have on my want list in the future.

Well, my reasoning for asking forum folks is 2 fold...first, to save on shipping. Of course, you can get hosed that way as well...sorry, not to imply that overseas sellers are "hosing" anyone...I know it is expensive to ship to the US. Second, availability...and there are lots of kits that are not even listed anymore that people have. Kind of like having a trade show, or "flea market" kind of thing...

Ok, enough rambling from me...

I am glad to finally know that I am not the only person who felt like that. That website has a lot of great models but I have never bought any because of that policy.

How long has that policy been posted? I bought a model (my first from the site) either the end of last year or first of this year and was not required to do this.

I look at it this way...it is a part of doing internet business. Anyone who is devious enough to steal someone's card and order PAPER MODELS with it, will surely be skilled enough to make a fake image of a driver's license. making that policy a waste of time...

Besides...who buys paper models with a stolen credit card?!?! I think I would make it worth my while, eh?
