Why do these card models get printed in such an odd scale. Aircraft in 1/33rd & 1/50th instead of 1/32nd & 1/48th scale?

It would be much easier to showcase these against their plastic cousins.

I know we can resize the PDF and all that, but is there any reason why the companies pick these scales.

Tanks/Trucks are also in an off scale. About the only thing that isnt different is ship scales

My understanding is that the rest of the world who developed models used the traditional 1/33 and 1/50th as it's easy to scale measurements in metric down that way and the US using the 'English' system used the oddball 1/32 and 1/48th because they work easier w/ the number 12. As the majority of card models were developed in Europe, they stuck with that scale.
