Why do these card models get printed in such an odd scale. Aircraft in 1/33rd & 1/50th instead of 1/32nd & 1/48th scale?
It would be much easier to showcase these against their plastic cousins. I know we can resize the PDF and all that, but is there any reason why the companies pick these scales. Tanks/Trucks are also in an off scale. About the only thing that isnt different is ship scales |

My understanding is that the rest of the world who developed models used the traditional 1/33 and 1/50th as it's easy to scale measurements in metric down that way and the US using the 'English' system used the oddball 1/32 and 1/48th because they work easier w/ the number 12. As the majority of card models were developed in Europe, they stuck with that scale.
