Default A nice U-Boat for a beginner???

Can someone steer me towards a nice U-boat paper model for a beginner, I've done the disneyexperience nautilus and about a half dozen free downloads. I'd like to try a uboat of about a foot long or so.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

NN

Here's another freebie: Japanese Imperial Navy midget submarine "Ko-Hyoteki "
--one of the midget subs that took part in the Attack on Pearl Harbor, 7 December 1942. It's in 1/48 scale. I enlarged to 1/35. Nice kit.

There is a Japanese film about some baseball playing friends who go off to war. The web site for the film has a really nice submarine you can download

I have tried to insert a photo of my completed model above - not sure it will work

This model has appeared before on this forum - so the link to the film might still work. If not contact me and I can send it to you.

I found it a very satisfying build and looks good when finished (about three feet long)

For a beginner? Maybe not, but there's a nice Soviet Yankee class boat here; Новая страница 1 Click back through the red button links, there are a number of other models there, too. The picture below is not my build, and I can't remember whose it was, but it's a much better picture than I have of my own at the moment. One of my favorite models!
