I have the one from Ninjatoes, and another one that I can't remember where I got it from. It isn't as detailed, (parts-wise), as the ninjatoes model, but the texture is a little better, crisper. It lacks a bit of color though. I can send it to you if you want.

What, you mean updating the texture of Ninjato's Galaxy? Quote:
The one at enterpriseD-1 pictures from hobbies & interests photos on webshots ? I've built that one before, and I'm actually very pleased with end result. A few of the colors are slightly off, but that's easy to fix. I was mostly looking for a larger model that included the separation between primary and secondary hulls, so I could seperate it (I designed a system for the Prometheus that should work for the Enterprise). Right now I'm thinking of resizing Billy's model and the connection parts from Jaybats' model to integrate them and allow saucer seperation. I'll let you all know how that goes.

If you feel like it. I'm not sure I'll build another after my current one though.
Also, holy hell, I knew the Galaxy class was big, but it didn't sink in until I compared the printouts to my Sovereign model (in 1/1900 from Zoshou). The saucer is at least an inch wider all the way around than the Sovereign.

Dont have much time for this project right now but i'm planning to pick it up again soon.
In the meantime did anybody managed to finish one build of the test projects for the Galaxy or the Miranda class? I'm planning on releasing the saucer with the textures i have, maybe that will help others with projects like the nebula class. |
