Default Free Model #3 - Cromwell Mk IV

Here is my build thread for the Free Model #3 contest. I chose this model from Thaipaperwork because it is well designed and is a subject I find interesting. Kit is only 5 pages but has the opportunity for lots of detail. You can download it here.

Not much to report. Spent extra time to keep the body square and seams aligned. Also doubled all the hinges and hatches on this part.

Looks good to me By the way, do you use a pen for outlining the tabs?

Todd,
Looks great so far! That's a fine looking model. Quick question for 'ya...Did you reinforce the hull with heavier card stock?

Thanks for the comments. I used 3 types of paper for this kit. 110lb cardstock for the hull and turret pieces, 90lb cardstock for the rest and anything that has to be rolled small I use 32lb text. I color the edges with Faber-Castell Pitt artist pens. They have a cool pointed brush and they don't bleed.

I've spent the last two months making road wheels but here is a picture of the front with all the fiddly tiny parts.

Excellent work! So the light rails are made of paper? Because that is truly something!
