The yard office has a spot yes. The diner will need to be placed around the DPM modular but haven't totally decided yet. The look awesome, BTW and I will post pics soon.

Ok so I have started the turntable but if any one has prototype or even model pictures of turntable please post em. This is a diamond scale 134' table, I am new so when I first saw the size I almost thought i couldn't do it.

It is research that takes up most of my model time. If anyone wants to follow the build diary can here. I will start updating in tomorrow.

Lookin' good! Uh, do you by any chance have access to a jig-saw? I'm willing to bet cuttin' that hole with a key-saw was a real pain in the drain! But looks like you did a really good job, anyway!!

@sgtcarl - In my site bio you will notice I was a Driver for an amish Barn building crew for while. The blades amish sharp and I am rough around the edges enough to work it beautifully.

@bigsteel - I am more looking for detail colors and such. So I can finish painting and weathering and landscaping it in short time.

Thank you for the comments.

The round house will require the benchwork to be extended so that has been put on hold for a while.

I am still looking for good prototypes and tips on painting this bugger up. The turntable that is. I actually might need to remove it and shim it from the bottom to bring the edge of the pit down.

Pictures would help if anyone is interested in helping.

The bridge for the turntable is in the paintshop and the tracks are all getting sorted (have some doubts).
The project is still active but I have taken a step back to allow my friend to help a bit. Fred Jr a fellow club member is painting the bridge and once I get it back I will dig into the project more.
