I've had a 1/1000 Polar Light Enterprise that I wanted to finish for some time, but had a little problem, the tabs that are attached to the nacelle dome are weak and when painted they have a propensity to fall off. It seems the connection is so weak that the enamel paint weakens it further and the tabs just drop off. I've had this hppend to several kits and just recently came to a solution..... PAPER! Or to be more precise, Cardstock!
Here's a shot of the ship in question.
All I have to do is trim up some paper parts and glue them on, this will also make the parts look a bit more accurate and the edges will be sharper and lend more detail, to an otherwise soft detail part of the ship.
I'll show the process and show the finished view. This should be a si,ple and short thread.
