Got some more foam down to build the base of the hill/tunnel portion of the layout. Also got some plaster work done to smooth out the slope of some spots

I managed to construct a small rail side fence that I'm pleased with! No progress on my tunnel though. R.

Added 1/8" plywood to the outside edges of the layout board. Fussed with the control panel fitting. One side is radiused to match the track. Just about ready for the stain.

I added frog wiring to a switch because my new loco was shorting on the points. Then I bought a new CDU because the old one stopped working. Then I put the wire from the old CDU back on the transformer. Next week: return new CDU.
Ran trains around for a while. Found loco wouldn't pull 6 Pullans up my 2% grade -- added 1/4 oz (all that would fit!) and it now gets up with a bit of spinning. Last loco had 3.5 oz added.
Now have to prepare for my demo table at the Great British Train show.

I got the new layout foam board painted and the straight mainline track roadbed glued down.
