I finally got a chance to attend a Train Show here in Calgary last weekend and after negotiating a dinner out, my domestic CEO agreed to come along.
Holy Crap. ![]() The layouts... the trains... the vendors (heheheh) The CEO was so impressed by the display she never once mentioned "Men playing with Trains". In fact she paid for a membership to the Calgary Model Rail Society and spent some time in the dungeon figuring ways to get me space for a bigger layout. She even brought out her wallet to by a couple of "cute little Boxcar thingies" for me. She was so impressed by the whole thing that dinner was forgotten and I'm left shaking my head. Just when you think you have them figured out.

Awesome show!!!!!!
And no $10.00 parking fee and for me that was two more CN (noodle) observation cars.
