Jeffrey,
that's a pretty neat paintjob. Did you do that yourself or buy it that way, or something else??

The weathering job I did. The graffiti is a Blair Line decal. Painting of that detail is years in my past.

I saw a pic(It may have been here!) of the prototype car with that same paint on it. The "tagger" was good enough to at least re-paint the reporting marks back on.

I don't have any MOW equipment. this is an older pic and the closest I have to MOW. This is serious MOW. I have posted these before.

Great thread this week guys, great photos too. Thanks for posting.
Here are a few of one of Conrails big hooks. The first 2 are in June of 1977, the last October 1978. I feel bad for anyone that never saw a steam crane work. I wish I had recorded the sound. I have 20-20 hind sight, like everyone else. Charlie |

I'll join in the MOW theme... A Tyco crane originally in a Santa Fe scheme is painted to fit in with my Penn Central layout. I like the safety yellow ladder on the back of that CR crane Charlie and may add one to mine.

I went to Wal-Mart the other day and got a quart of flat latex the same color as the WS blended turf I use in my scenery. Today I put it to the test. I paint an area then sprinkle on some blended turf. What would have taken an hour or more now takes about ten minutes.
