Dennis Weaver's car was a mid 60's Plymouth Valiant as I recall. The dashboard was pretty similar to my dad's 65 Fury II. Not certain but I think the truck was a Mack.

The main truck used was a 1955 Peterbuilt 351 which as anyone that has seen the film knows isn't very well now however there was also a 1960 Pete used for some of the filming which is still going this article in 10-4 Magazine I would love to have a model of this if someone is up to having a go.

Actually, the Duel truck was a Peterbuilt 281. One of the four used in filming the original TV movie and the extended theatrical release still remains:

Duel (film - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

10-4 Magazine - For Today's Trucker

Rockin' Down the Highway with Paul Grushkin: the most ROCKIN' truck ever . . . played a bit part in a David Lee Roth video

The Surviving Duel Truck - Home

I've never built a semi before... but I would definitely be interested in this one.
