Default Lost my old account :(

Who do i talk to about retrieving my old account, i just can't remember the password for it. Keep trying every now and then, i must have about 30 passwords for various sites and none of them work. All i need are the first 2 letters and i'd probably rember it.

I have tried all my email addresses for a password recovery, but it could be a long abandoned email account. Had 7 at one time - now down to 4.

I've even looked on my old computer and all i can find are 2 cookies for cardmodels.net which i doubt are of any use.

Can anyone help?

Hi

I to lost my old account I just started a new one and carried on from there, one of the mods contacted me and was fine about it. Ubless you realy want to use your old account i suggest just re-introduce yourself explaining who you used to be and off you go. I dare say we are not the only ones in this place in this position.

Firefox HAHAHAHAHA, i'd rather use IE

I'm having to press CTRL+F5 using opera to get an updated page, eg. a read thread shows no new posts even though there maybe 5 new posts , hoping i can sort it out my end, maybe with a custom CSS, and add a no-cache?

probably my settings.....

Yea... I wonder why firefox is bad... I mean firefox has all those freakingly good add-ons you can use, and plus there is even a portable version to use on your USB

I find Firefox has the same tendancy to just stop working and die as IE.
So i go with the least frustrating explorer, opera, to surf the web without crashing and use IE exclusively for FTP.
Just me and technology i guess .

Found the problem with the site by the way, was at my end, opera was set to NEVER check for updated pages. Not sure why.

The fix is, Tools-> preferences-> advanced -> history -> set 'check documents' to always.
