When you pour the resin to make water, is there a proper why to insert logs.
Do you glue them to the bottom and pour resin half why up the log or cut the logs in half and place logs after the pour while it is still wet. I have made ponds with resin but not with logs. |

When to insert logs, or whether or not to use "whole" logs, depends on the log pond you want. If the water is to be clear, you want whole logs. If the water is muddy, you can get by with partial logs on top of the water surface.
Water, below the logs, should be poured first. Whole logs, of different diameters, would be added largest first, and the subsequent pours would allow for each of the different sizes. The final pour should bring the water level up to the finished height, with all the logs floating at the proper depth.
