Default Some recent weathering jobs I've done

These are some recent weathering jobs I've done on some new rolling stock.

First, a Bachmann Silver Series gondola.

I see no weathering on the first one, just a total repaint.

But it's a nice job either way; the other two are just plain beautiful (well ok, maybe not exactly...beautiful...but...er...ah...YOU GET MY POINT ).

Jeffrey, did you letter that gondola by hand? It looks pretty good. I have an older bachmann gondola or two with the older talgo-style plastic trucks. I am going to challenge myself by detailing it and weathering it until it makes a nice MoW car. I mention this because it looks exactly like your car. Bachmann must be using the same molds for their silver series, with updated underframs and trucks.

Yes, that's the old Varney tooling. Bachmann, Life-Like and several others have used it for many years and marketed it as their own.
