Brief update:

This new tool should help me finsh all my outstanding projects.



I will be replacing the cardstock grillwork with clear actetate as allowed and described in the directions.

Just a hint....YOu should print a copy of the windows, then cut out the boards on the edge of the windows. Paste them onto the corresponding sides, and you get an elevated piece! It screams, I HAVE VOLUME!

The've got window cutouts built into the model that you can use for that very purpose. I'm doing some of the front, but not so much the sides, the also have included door frame cutouts.

I got the lighted magnifier at a thrift store for $5.00. I had a flourescent light that had a better stand and I stripped them apart and made one.

Looks like a manicure or stamp collecting light. I bet Walgreens or something along that order would have one.

This one had a "C" clamp for attaching it to a table and I didn't want that. I've seen this same model go for $50.00 to $75.00. I would imagine and artist's supply house, or drafting supply place..... Hobby shop? Online? I don't know, when I looked none were cheap.

Sorry your was stolen. I had to get something for card modeling and electronics....my eyes just aint what they used to be, so when I saw this, I had to get it. Mybe a I should start a "Lamp" thread.
