AVAILABLE FROM www.papercraftcars.com PayPal accepted.
I am making some of my chipboard model cars available in printed kit form. Their scale is 1/24th, and they will come with plans, patterns for making spare parts, instructions, surface features printed on heavy colored paper, chipboard for the body structure (with the body parts outlined on it), and silver coated cardboard for chrome. They will not have interiors, but will have wheel patterns and axles (cotton-tip swab sticks) for rolling wheels. You may build these models entirely of cardstock if you prefer, but you may have to do some scanning or photocopying on your own stock, and add your own gluing tabs. Price per kit will be $10 U.S., and postage and handling for U.S. locations will be $2.50 per kit. If you are outside of the U.S., I will find out what the postage will be, and notify you. You may pay through PayPal, or send a check or money order to: Mark Crowel; P.O. Box 632; Mattawan, MI 49071-9340 You are encouraged to email me directly (see address with my signature), with your questions, comments, or concerns. Attached are photos of the models to be offered. Some of these are crayon colored pre-production prototypes, but the production kits' surface features will be printed on heavy colored paper, and will have silver coated cardboard for chrome, as mentioned above. No names or emblems will appear on the production kits. They are, top to bottom: 1958 sport coupe. 1956 sportcoupe. 1958 two-door hardtop. 1950 5-passenger coupe. 1959 compact sedan

The models differ from the actual cars that inspired them, by having their proportions, shapes, and features simplified. They are semi-replicas; artistic variations upon the designs of the real cars. No names or emblems will appear upon the kits I produce.

Well of course brand names 'belong' to the originators, but there is a 'fair use' clause in both US and British copyright law.
If that were not the case, newspapers would have to print captions like: "Her Majesty arriving at Sandringham today in a four-wheeled blue vehicle whose brand name we are not permitted by law to publish." Nah! ![]() (For our internation audience: 'nah', a long, drawn out and very badly pronounced 'no' is used as a sarcastic 'I don't believe it', or 'never'.) ![]()
